Journalism Lives came to life in March 2010 when Elon iMedia classmates David A. Kennedy and Steve Earley decided they wanted to help inform the evolving news industry. The tool they chose was a blog that would chart how technology was not harming the news industry, but helping it through increased interactivity.
David A. Kennedy
David is an online marketing specialist for The Arc, a nonprofit that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He's a former journalist, and has a master's degree in interactive media from Elon University.
Steve Earley
An experienced community reporter and copy editor transitioning from print to multi-platform journalism, Steve works in audience engagement at The Baltimore Sun. He also has a master's degree in interactive media from Elon University.
